When you submit a quote request we collect the information you enter: company, name, phone, email, site location, the service you need and any detail you provide. We collect this because you asked us to quote work, and we use it to respond to that request and to service the account if you become a customer.
Our web host records standard server logs, including IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We also use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used: which pages people visit, how they arrived, how far they scroll, what they click (for example the phone number or the quote button), and recordings and heatmaps of how pages are used. Anything typed into the quote form is masked and is not sent to either tool.
We use a small number of cookies. Strictly necessary cookies make the site work. Analytics cookies, set by Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, are on by default. You can turn them off at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer, and they stay off on that browser.
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the business — for example our email provider and, once online payment is enabled, our payment processor. Those providers may only use it to perform that service. They are Microsoft (Microsoft 365 email, Azure hosting and Clarity) and Google (Google Analytics).
Quote requests are kept for up to three years from the date we receive them, then deleted, unless the request becomes a customer account. Customer account records are retained as long as the account is active and afterward for as long as required for tax, regulatory and waste documentation obligations.
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we are legally required to keep. Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act. Write to quotes@mattechus.com. We will verify your request and respond within 45 days. If we need longer, we will tell you within that period and may extend it once by another 45 days. Someone you authorize may make a request for you; we will ask for proof of their authority. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our decision, and we will answer the appeal within 60 days.
We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the information we hold. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
